Leadership Cleburne is a nine-month class that gives you a better perspective into the different businesses and organizations that make up the Cleburne community. The class meets each month (September-May) on the second Wednesday, typically 8a-5p to learn about topics such as city, county, and state government, healthcare, education, economic development, and quality of life. During the program, participants will learn and practice leadership skills for use in their professional and citizenship roles. Additionally, participants build networks with current and emerging leaders, learn about community issues, and acquire skills to assure a more active and effective volunteer role in addressing community needs. The program began in 1987 and many of the people who have been through the program are now serving in various leadership capacities with numerous community organizations.
